Refinishing your cabinets is by far the most economical way to update a kitchen, if you like the layout and just not the color or finish.
We can apply paints, stains and glazes to create a custom finish in the color you want. The most popular painted cabinets are shades of white or off-white, but you can choose any color you like.
Six steps from wood tone to finished.
- We remove all hardware and mask off everything that isn’t being painted.
- We clean, lightly sand and de-gloss every surface.
- One to two coats of primer go on.
- Then two to four coats of pigmented polyurethane. It can be matched to any color and is much more durable than paint.
- Frames are painted in place. Doors and drawers are sprayed in a closed-off area.
- Most kitchens take 3 to 5 days, depending on size and the number of cabinets.
